2 cups hot filtered water or 2 cups hot coffee, ideally fresh brewed with organic beans
1-2 tablespoons MCT oil (if you're new to MCT oil, start slow otherwise it can cause GI issues). You can substitute with organic coconut oil OR 2-3 tablespoons full-fat coconut milk)
1 teaspoon unsweetened vanilla powder or extract
1/2 teaspoon organic cinnamon
1 teaspoon acacia fiber (optional)
2 scoop collagen powder or plant protein (optional)
Dash of unsweetened almond milk to make it extra frothy
Add all ingredients to a blender and process until frothy.
Note: Be very careful when pureeing hot liquids in a blender. The heat from the liquid can cause the pressure in the blender to build up under the lid, and when the blender is turned on, the top can blow off and your hot liquid will go everywhere.
Suppose you're making this a meal add in protein and fiber. If you're using this as a fasting tool, skip the protein as this will activate mTOR and turn off autophagy.
