Faux Oatmeal


  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk. I used Califia Farms Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk 

  • 3 tbsp chia seeds

  • 2 tbsp flaxseed

  • 1/2 cup frozen organic blueberries

  • 1 serving protein powder (20-30g)



  1. Using a small soup pan, add milk and turn heat to low-medium.

  2. Allow the nut milk to lightly simmer then add seeds and berries; stir well and cover for 8 minutes.

  3. Remove lid, stir in protein powder.

  4. If you desire a thicker consistency, cover with a lid for another 2-3 minutes. Want it thinner? Add water.

  5. Serve warm and top with extra berries, nuts & cinnamon

  6. Feel free to top with extra berries such as raspberries or blackberries for more diversity!
